M. bought a new house in Amstelveen. A three floor house with a single big living open space at the ground floor with a small kitchen and a fireplace. No windows along the sides of the house and only two big door-windows in the garden.

M. asked me to help her to find out the best layout to expand the kitchen (avoiding to discard the old one, but eventually adding new appliances and a coffee table), the dining area and the living area in front of the fireplace.

The most challenging part of the project was the unusual height of all the members of the family: 4 persons taller than 1.85 cm. Everything in the house had to be thought keeping this measure in mind!!
